Make-Up Tutorial! :) (My very own, featuring me!)
Okay, I usually wear this look everywhere I go, but that's just because I don't really wear a lot of make up and this is more than enough for me :). For some people this can just be a laid-back relaxed look chilling at home or going to the beach. Over the years this has set in to be "my look" and I absolutely love it! Enjoy ;)
Okay, so this is me, no make up. Usually how I look the majority of the time. Really bad allergies, don't judge. :p
I'm actually already wearing what lip gloss I usually wear because it's my chap stick too SCORE, so that's why they look like they do already and throughout the whole tutorial :)
I start off with my Mary Kay medium coverage foundation and my acne treatment gel, I don't use a lot of foundation, really only on dark spots and blemishes. The way I keep my skin from getting acne-covered and oily and just flat out gross is not worrying about the small imperfections and defiantly not a lot of face make up. I wear powder all over, which I'll show a picture of later, and that's usually all I need to even out my skin tone. Try that some time ;).
I only had one itty bitty zit, that I covered, and here is where I put the foundation on. It's hard to see in this picture but all I covered up was an old chicken pox scar (lame), two dots near the under of my eyes, three dots along my cheek bones (I'm sun burnt...) and one dot over the zit that I'm trying to get rid of :/ P.S. Wait till the acne treatment gel is dried because it does sometimes leave behind like white crust where you smear it in and you'll have to flake it away.
Now For My Eyes!
I'm using Victoria Secret make up, I just recently got it and I <3 it! I think it's the Hello Bombshell edition thing? Anyways, this whole column with the browns is what I'm using.
This is the first step :)
The second square from the top is what I use to highlight my eyes. I go from my eyebrows down to that bone on my eye.
Second Step :)
The first color on the column is what I use for my eyelids and blending up towards the highlight color I just used. I know it looks really white and bleached out, but I promise it will get better. This is just one step closer to looking FABULOUS!
Third Step :)
Using the third square down which is just a light brown I start working a little bit closer to the crease in my eyes, drawing lines where the crease would be if it was closer up. Continue to blend from crease going up and along the eye liner line. Keep in mind, I don't use eye liner (sensitive wrinkly eyes :/) and if you're going to use it to probably do it before the third step. I'd recommend a brown or dark brown liner.
Fourth Step :)
So, this one actually works with the crease and an extended crease :). The color I used in the actual crease was the fourth square down, the darkest brown. I used the same technique as in the third step except the actual crease and the extended crease. Well, you see?
(It's only on the left eye, your left not mine ;).)
BTW! The top brush is used for steps 1 & 2. The bottom brush is used for steps 3 & 4 :).
Be sure to clean out your brushes between each use! Just simply wiping them off on a tissue will make a HUGE difference! You'll see on your eyes :).
Now For Those Lovely Lashes :).
curl gently! Squeeze about three or four times. Heat your curlers up with your hands before use to make your lashes stay curled longer!
BEFORE...
AFTER :)!
My recommendation for mascara would be the lovely FALSIES!
Not too much! Perfect, huh?
My powders and blushes :)
In this tutorial I'm using the center powder (I put it on when I do my blush :).) and the third blush from the left.
Hopefully I'll get to use that darker powder this summer once I get tan! <3
My Magical Brush :).
See how I made the brush come up? MAGIC :)!
Don't forget to smile!
So, I might use a little bit too much blush, but smearing with your hand works great! After I apply my blush I put some extra blush that's left on my jaw bones, earlobes, nose, and extended from my cheek bones. Contorts just a bit and give a bit of glow :)
P.S. Put powder on first :).
Then you're done!
Stay Beautiful ☼
